Camogie Mini All-Ireland a huge success
We had a fantastic Mini All-Ireland Camogie Blitz on Friday evening in splendid weather. We had record numbers taking part, 200 in total. Many thanks to James Murray, Tony Sweeney and the organising committee. Thanks once again to Rathfarnham & District Credit Union for their generous sponsorship of this event. Camogie Feile Provincial Blitz
On a sunny Saturday morning the Ballyboden St Endas camogie Feile team gathered at Thomas Davis for the first Leinster Provincial Feile na nGael Blitz. This was a mix of girls from both the U14 and U13 teams. Happily the umberalls were left at home and replaced with suncream and picnics.
First up were the home team Thomas Davis. The Boden girls started as hoped and recorded a convincing win. Next fixture was Ballinkillen(Carlow) where once again once again the Boden forwards were superior taking all their scoring opportunities and finishing with a strong win.
The final game against Lucan Sarsfields proved to be more competitive. Boden got a strong lead in the first half but Lucan battled hard in the second half to contain the forwards. Another comfortable win for the Boden girls.
The girls can take great credit for how well they performed on the day. A big thanks to all the parents who came along on the day to support
